How To: Edit in Quicktime

• If you have a take of your video that only needs the front and end trimmed off, and doesn’t need titles, music, or fades, you can use Quicktime for a very fast editing option.

1. Open

a. Navigate to your video file on the Working Drive

b. Double click a video to open it in Quicktime

2. Trim

a. Click "Edit" in the Menu Bar

b. Select "Trim" form the menu

c. Use the handles to select the portion of the video you want to keep.

d. Click "Trim" in the bottom right corner

3. Export

a. Click "File" from the Menu Bar

b. Select "Export As" -> "1080p..."

c. Select where you'd like the file to be saved and the name

d. Click "Save"
