Spiritual Formation Strategy

God uses all aspects of a believer’s life in order to grow them into Christlikeness, including the three gathering strategies of The Austin Stone, each of which offers a unique contribution to spiritual growth. Classes offer dedicated learning environments where believers grow to better understand the content of God’s Word. Groups offer deep relationships where the truths of God’s Word are worked out and practiced as group members love and serve each other and those outside the group. And worship services remind believers that we are a part of a much larger family of believers, joined together in worship and in the sacraments. We humbly pray that God would, by His Spirit, use these three environments in tandem with each other to significantly impact the spiritual growth of His people at The Austin Stone.
