What is For the Nations? Great question!
For The Nations is the department that stewards the vision of The Austin Stone to love the nations. We are a central ministry that is expressed directly as well as through other TAS ministries and across six congregations. We’re diligently working to catalyze church-planting movements among the unreached for the sake of God’s glory. We are one department made up of three teams - Long Term Mobilization, Global Missions, and Field Office. 
  • The Global Missions team helps spread awareness through classes, events, and trips. This team also supports goers through the use of Advocacy Teams and Goer Care Teams. 
  • The Long Term Mobilization team serves in helping people discern their next steps towards loving the nations while also training those who are planning to go to the field through Goer Missional Communities (GMC) and Discipleship Making Intensive (DMI).
  • The Field Office team oversees our goer network through care, coaching, and crisis management.
