Requirements for Being Sent as an Austin Stone Goer

To be sent by The Austin Stone, a candidate should:

1. Be involved with The Austin Stone for at least two years prior to being sent.
2. Be a partner of The Austin Stone.
3. Complete required nine-month training with For the Nations’ Long Term Mobilization Team.
4. Be affirmed in a calling to the nations by our elders and in collaboration with the Long Term Mobilization Team.
5. Partner with an approved sending agency and an approved field team leader, preferably oriented towards church planting movements (CPM) among unreached people groups (UPGs).
6. Complete the Ministry Safe Awareness training.
7. Have a functioning Advocacy Team with an identified leader who is a partner of The Austin Stone.
8. Commit to be under the authority of The Austin Stone elders through the Field Office in matters of doctrines and moral conduct.
