Workout Rooms

Guidelines and Procedures for Workout Spaces 

  • The use of facilities and equipment is at your own risk.
  • The Austin Stone assumes no liability or responsibility for any injury that may occur.
  • Please read and follow workout equipment directions carefully. If you have questions, please contact the facilities team.
  • You are responsible for knowing your physical limitations.
  • Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. No sandals, flip-flops, or bare feet.
  • No children under 18 are permitted in the fitness room at any time.
  • Please return the equipment to its proper place.
  • Wipe down any equipment used after every use with the wipes provided.
  • Please report any faulty or damaged equipment using the QR provided in the respective room.
  • Be considerate of others. Start and finish your workout in the allotted time of your reservation.
  • Please take all personal belongings with you when your workout is completed.

Days & Hours of Use

Office Operating Hours: 7 am - 7 pm / Monday - Friday

Janitorial Cleaning Hours: 11 pm / Monday - Friday only

Reservations

  • The Workout Rooms are listed individually (Peloton /Vitruvian /Treadmill) as room options in your Google Calendar under Highland Tech.
  • You can book them just like our other spaces with a few additional parameters to support these unique, shared spaces.
    • Limit 1 hour per reservation
    • No recurring reservations (It might look like it works in google, but Robin won't show it.)
    • May reserve space up to 5 days in advance
    • On demand booking is also available through the iPad
  • Be sure to check-in to the room using the iPad outside of the workout room or your reservation will automatically cancel.
  • Be considerate of others. Start and finish your workout in the allotted time you reserve.
  • Please be sure to wipe down all equipment after each use. All supplies should be in the room.

Peloton 

The Peloton Bike is an indoor cycling bike but for our company setting. It has a lot of features like the Peloton you may know but it also will likely be a bit different so please be sure to follow the instructions to get the most out of your experience. No prior experience or personal account is required in advance to enjoy this as your workout option.


To get started  

  • You will need to create a free account (all on the machine, no need to use your phone.) 
  • Once you create your account, please follow the instructions screen that details bike operation.  This includes seat height adjustment, seat depth adjustment, handlebar adjustment, adjusting resistance, confirming your setup, first position, second position, and third position.  
  • Once you follow those instructions you can start taking classes or doing a free ride! 

Vitruvian 

The Vitruvian is an all-in-one home gym solution! You have access to a wide range of weights that can generate resistance up to 440 lbs – without the bulky equipment.  The trainer is designed to adjust the weight according to your needs, ensuring you always get the most out of your workout. 


To get started  

  • Download the VITRUVIAN app and log in with your Austin Stone e-mail address.  
  • Connect to the machine through the app using the QR code on the machine or standing close to it (If it is not working, turn the machine off and back on to connect.).  
  • Follow the instructions on the app to begin your workout.  

A stand is provided to put your phone in for your workout.  Once you have completed your workout please wipe down the machine, turn it off, and gather your belongings.  If you have any questions please reach out to Meagan or Ellie.  Watch a YouTube video or visit the Vitruvian site to learn more about this machine!
