Requesting Worship Leader and Production Help

If you’re considering adding Worship and Production elements into your event, you’ve come to the right place! As part of the Creative Division, the Production and Worship teams are excited to learn how we might be able to help accomplish the goals you have for your event.Before moving any farther down this page please consider opting into using our Self-Serve solution (insert link to help scout page) currently available at the For the City Center, West Campus and Northwest Campus. Below are some guidelines to help you understand if you should be submitting this form.

When to Submit this Form

You should not yet submit this form if:

  • your event is a congregation-driven event and have not brought this to your Worship Leader and Production Manager first
  • your event space has not been reserved yet via CCB (or alternative reservations system for an external space)
  • if getting input from ASW is helpful or needed in order to nail down where your event will be held, please reach out via Slack first
  • your event will take place in a conference room at one of our locations
  • your event takes place less than 2 months from the date you fill out this form
    • please reach out to Steven Bush, Matthew Moore, Jaleesa McCreary and Will Sorley first via Slack letting us know your desire for Worship or Production assistance
  • you are wanting Worship/Production help for an event that spans or occurs on a Sunday
    • please reach out to Steven Bush, Matthew Moore, Jaleesa McCreary and Will Sorley first via Slack letting us know your desire for Worship or Production assistance
  • you are wanting Worship/Production help for an event that occurs out of town and/or requires over night lodgings

NOTE: None of the above clauses are non-starters, but helpful first steps to take before needing to fill out this form.

You should submit this form if:

  • none of the above is true or this has been otherwise discussed with Worship Team and Production Team Leadership with a green light to move forward

Congregation vs. Central Event Status

Congregation Event

  • any event directly tied to a Congregation’s initiatives in name and mission
    • Examples: Family Prayer, Partner Gathering, Leadership Huddle, ASDP, etc.if your congregation is in the name of the event, this would be a "congregation" event
  • How to ask for Worship/Production Help for your CONGREGATION event:
    • reach out to your Congregation Worship Leader and Production Manager internally
    • if your congregation team doesn't currently have one of those staff members OR either of them are unavailable to support:
      • fill out our Request Form notifying us of the support needed and in the "Additional Notes" section provide as much context as possible (ex: “We are requesting Production Support as our Congregation Production Manager is on vacation. Our Congregation Worship Leader has confirmed they will be able to support us.“)

Central Event

  • any event that doesn’t limit attendance to a specific congregation but is open to a larger population of The Austin Stone Church
    • Examples: City Wide Worship, College Night of Worship, Team Renew, Women’s Retreat, ASI Seminars, Recovery
  • if the event owner’s team is not a congregational team
  • How to ask for Worship/Production Help for your CENTRAL Event:
    • Fill out our Request Form with as much detail regarding your event.
